With over 10 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Yessenia Lopez Reyes is dedicated to helping students and professionals achieve their academic and career goals. She has held leadership, advising, and student success roles at Florida International University (FIU), Purdue University, Indiana University, and Miami Dade College.
Dr. Lopez Reyes has taught First-Year Experience and Emotional Intelligence courses and has been a strong advocate for women in technology, leading the Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) student chapter. In recognition of their leadership, they received the Student Chapter Leadership Award in March 2023. She is passionate about empowering individuals to confidently navigate college admissions, career planning, and professional growth.
